Mission Statement

Grace Park Montessori Pre-School aims to provide top quality care and education in the early years.   Inspired by the philosophy of Dr Maria Montessori it operates within the national educational curriculum framework of Aistear and in compliance with Siolta standards.  Our pre-school practice cares for and educates children in two sessional services—morning and afternoon.

Our primary emphasis is on developing the unique and individual potential of every child who attends the service.  Our philosophy is based upon a holistic model of child development whereby all aspects of the personality of the child—social, physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual and psychological—are nurtured and encouraged to develop.

We aim to work closely as a community comprised of staff, children, parents, families and local community to provide a safe and stimulating environment where each child’s individual needs are nurtured and where confidence, independence and self-esteem are fostered through play, interactions and exploration.

In our school we strive to protect, encourage and acknowledge each child and teach the children to be:
